Jengachenga Rhodesian Ridgebacks Litters
LITTERS
Jengachenga 'B' litter Ch Flametrees Kyper of Godolphin x Tsjakka Kari of Jengachenga Puppies due 17th September 2009 This is an exciting combination of lines - with Kariba having her Swedish and Dutch influences, Reno brings some traditional British/Scottish and South African lines. A unique combination of Kariba's superb shape and Reno's strong stature.

Here is a great masculine dog with presence
standing and in action, gives the respectful impression of being able
to confront a Lion, great head with the right kind of dignity in
expression, strong sound construction and great length of stride with
well kept type in action, optimal balance in angulation, gives very
sound and honest impression, great coat quality.
Judge Goran Bodegard (Sweden)
Blackpool Championship Show 09
9 month old of some quality, r/w, sweet correct head, nice length to neck, well laid and sloped shoulders along with good length of upper arm allowed the long reach to front which s complimented by her well angled quarters, a firm top line with the gentle rise over the loins, well knuckled feet, just needs more confident handling and should progress to do very well, this was a very good youngster class, the balance and relaxed attitude of first won the class from 2.
Magnificent
male, true stallion hound, superb head and expression, strong neck,
super front and feet, powerful body, correct crowns and ridge, moved
with style and reach, hound to be proud of.
Judge Keith Thornton
Birmingham National 09

A WORD OF CAUTION TO PUPPY BUYERS
It has come to the notice of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Breed Clubs that some unscrupulous breeders are passing off Rhodesian Ridgebacks of incorrect colours, as "rare and correct" - please be careful. The correct colours allowed by the breed standard, as defined by The Kennel Club, are Light Wheaten to Red Wheaten and not colours such as black and tan (Doberman colouring) or brindle. Occasionally, due to recessive genes, silver/grey, blue, black & tan or brindle coloured puppies are born. They should never be shown, never be used in a breeding programme and should be registered as "non standard" colours; their purchase price should reflect this. The Kennel Club recommends that these puppies should have their registration documents endorsed by the breeder accordingly.
